Meet Reba – she is an adorable 12 pound girl that has never met a stranger. In addition to her unique coloring she has personality plus. If there were an award for snuggling; she would win paws down! Reba loves all humans; including children. She is being fostered with several other cavaliers and does great with them.
Reba came into rescue weighing 7 lbs. She was skin and bones and we knew something was wrong with her. She has an enzyme insufficiency called EPI; she does not digest the food she eats. There is an easy fix thankfully and it’s inexpensive. She needs an enzyme powder sprinkled on her dry dog food, a little bit of water and then let it sit for 20 minutes. The enzyme powder digests the food for her and then she eats it and absorbs the nutrients. She is also on B12.
Other than EPI Reba is in great health. She is now at her optimal weight and needs a high quality kibble. Reba is working on house-training. She loves her crate and should be taken out on a regular basis.
Reba would love a family to call her own! If you live in Texas or Oklahoma and want to open your home and heart to a wonderful girl, please complete an adoption application.
