Lucky in Northern CA

Lucky is a sweet 9-and-a-half year old boy who loves greeting other pups on his daily walks and playing with his toys. He is deaf and a tad on the chunky side but we are working on his weight management and he's already lost a couple pounds. He is a very smart boy who can be a bit protective of his food around other dogs. This needs to be managed if another dog is in the home (easily done if fed in his crate). He loves chin scratches and to be near his people, and would do best in a home where an adult is home most of the time. If you work from home or are retired, he would be a great companion for you. He needs a fenced yard as he is deaf and cannot hear if called. He is available in Northern California and will also be considered for the right home in Southern California. He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped
