Hero is a 9 year old male. He came to rescue with his littermates Dahlia and Winnie when their owner died.
Hero is a healthy happy male who is a bit overweight. Good thing he likes going for walks as his forever home will need to be dedicated to a weight loss and exercise routine. He gets along with his foster siblings and after initially bing sad to be separated from his sisters Dahlia and Winnie, he has settled in well. Hero tested positive for Lyme disease when he came to Rescue. He as put on a 30-day regimen of doxycycline to help rid him of the disease. Since he is good walking on a leash, a fenced yard is not required; just the dedication to giving him lots of walks to help him drop his extra pounds.
Hero is being fostered in Reading, Pennsylvania, so potential adoption candidates must live within reasonable driving distance of the foster. Does not like cats. Chases rabbits and other small animals. Gets along with other dogs.
