Hazelnut here checking in to give you a little update on my foster stay. I am a lucky five year old who loves all of my new dog and cat family members. I love all of my new family, but I’m especially close to one of the dog friends and the human who takes care of me. When I first got here I was a little scared, but now think this place is so fun. I hope I can live in a place with other dog friends - I would be sad by myself.
Some of my favorite pastimes include all things associated with my human - we go on walks, snuggle on the couch, spend time in the fenced in back yard and play with all of my dog friends!
After a slow start in the eating department, I finally realized my kibble tastes better than I thought it would. Treats are also good- sometimes my foster mom puts my medicine in them so I don’t even mind if I have to take anything! Oh, and I love to ride in the car and go see the vet, they are really nice there.
I think that about covers my new adventures - this has been a fantastic experience! I am being fostered in West Des Moines, Iowa. I’m looking for a forever home close by so I can keep up with my new doggie friends.
