Ginger is a very sweet and sensitive dog. She loves cuddling and tummy rubs, running and exploring in the yard, and meeting new friends (people and dogs). Ginger is playful, and enjoys squeaky toys, balls and dried duck feet. She will cower if scolded, or if someone raises their voice at her. She is very calm, and shares her toys and bed, but can be greedy when it comes to treats. She enjoys being with her favorite people and dog friends, and plays very well with both! She would love to have a playmate to wrestle and run with. She is a lovely ginger color, with a little sprinkling of white around her nose, and weighs about 15 pounds.
Ginger would love a securely fenced yard (no electric fences) and another small dog to play with. She is new to being a pet and after a month in foster care, has finally mastered the art of housebreaking. She adores her foster brother, who is a puppy. They love to play and sleep together. She is not afraid of noises and gets along with children young and old. She gets along with dogs large and small and has met some cats with no problems. She has learned to walk well on a leash and comes when called. Her fosters have worked hard to train her and promise to be very selective in choosing her forever family.
