Emma came to rescue in January with her brother Spencer when her family had to move and could no longer keep them. Emma is now 14 and totally healthy! She has no heart murmur and on no medication. She recently had a dental and is doing great. She does have cataracts, one since birth, so while she can see, her vision is very impaired.
Neither Emma or her brother Spencer had much socialization with other dogs, so she would need to be an only dog. Emma is used to being with her brother Spencer (he recently passed away) and she told us if she has someone around a lot she would be okay with human company. She loves to go for walks so if you don't have a fenced yard, she could manage. She is being fostered in the Pittsburgh area, so if you live a reasonable driving distance from there and want to adopt a sweet older girl, please apply.
