Dahlia is a 9 year old black and tan girl who came to rescue with her littermates Winnie and Hero when their owner died.
Hi! Dahlia here, just a quick update: I am settling into my foster home along with my sister Winnie. I like the other dogs who live with my fosters. I have done so well with my weight loss program, my foster is giving me more food these days, I like going out for walks, which helped me get to my ideal weight. I want a home that will take me for walks or a huge securely fenced yard to roam in.
I tested positive for Lyme when i came to Rescue so I’m on a 30 day regimen of doxycycline to make me better. I will need a special test in 6 months to see if the medicines worked or not.
If you are willing to adopt all 3 dogs, please indicate that on your adoption application as we would love for them to stay together. All 3 are healthy. None are on heart meds and only one has a slight heart murmur. All 3 dogs are being fostered in central Pennsylvania so we prefer adoption candidates live within reasonable driving distance of the fosters.
