Charlotte came to rescue back in August from mass surrender in the Pacific Northwest. Her first day as part of Rescue Trust involved Charlotte giving birth to a litter of four adorable puppies. Now that the puppies have been weaned and adopted, Charlotte is excited to find her forever home. Prior to being in foster Charlotte had no socialization, no potty training, no leash training and no crate training. She will need a forever home that will provide patience, training, and a lot of love.
We estimate Charlotte is about three years old. In order to qualify for her adoption, you must live in either Oregon or Washington state. We prefer that she have a fenced yard, another Cavalier to learn from, and have someone home most of the time. We will not accept applicants where the dog will be alone more than four hours a day on a regular basis. Previous training experience is a plus. If your application is considered a good fit, a volunteer will call and interview you. We will do a reference check with your veterinarian. If you do not have a vet reference we will not consider your application. If her foster thinks you are a good fit for Charlotte, a volunteer will come by and do a home visit.
if you have room in your heart and life for a beautiful sweet dog, please complete an adoption application.
