I need a home where I can be the top dog, or the only dog is even better! I am a lover bug but I also love to protect things, they call it resource guarding, so I need an owner that is familiar with it and can manage me - so that is important to me. I have a condition named EPI and require special magical powder (enzymes) to help me process the good stuff in my food and help me. If you're familiar or willing to learn about my EPI than please apply. My diet needs to be stricter than most Cavaliers due to my condition and I need ongoing scheduled lab work that checks my B12 levels and to monitor my progress and make sure I stay healthy. I was very underweight and have gained several pounds thanks to the care I am getting. I am neutered, up to date on vaccinations and have a microchip too! I prefer a home with adults only or older children and need a fenced in yard.
