Hi, My name is Baxter and I am a wonderful little guy who is currently living in Reading Pa. I’ve been in my new foster home for four weeks and I am still a little skittish around new objects….like foster mom’s pink baseball hat. I am now pretty well potty trained and even let my foster know I had to poop this morning. I am a little afraid to go out the door and need some coaxing but a leash helps guide me out. I love to walk and do well while I am being kept safe by being doubled leashed. You should know I am all spaniel and look to chase bushy tailed objects that cross my path so having a fence is a good idea. (I haven’t met any of those things people call cats but I will soon.)
I live with 5 foster siblings, 4 of which are cavaliers. I am 2 ½ years young and my “friends” are older so I sleep a lot with them but I think I need some younger friends to keep me active. I do well in my crate now and happily go in and look for a treat when I do so. I am pretty sure I would like a brother or sister in my new home to keep me company.
I really like to eat but so far have not tasted any of those wonderful things my fosters take off their feet, I think they are called shoes, or anything else I shouldn’t. If you are looking for a really cool guy who likes to curl up and watch TV with you give me a look!
If you live within reasonable driving distance of Reading, PA and want and adorable, cuddly, and sweet dog to add to your family, please apply. No young children, and don’t forget I need a fenced yard to be happy.
