Rachel is about three months old. She is not house broken. She is playful and likes to be held. She has had her first two distemper/parvo shots. She is too young for the rabies vaccine. Adopter will be responsible for all future vaccines. She and the rest of the litter had Giardia, but our determined foster got it under control. She is microchipped and the Rescue Trust provides lifetime microchip registration.
Rachel is being fostered in Washington state about halfway between the Portland and Tacoma airports. If you are selected for her forever family, you must assume all costs of transportation (airfare, rental car, etc) to pick up the dog. We prefer the adopter live in Washington state or Oregon. Since she is not house broken, she must not be left alone for more than two hours at a time. A securely fenced yard is preferred, but not required. No electric fences. No exceptions. All applicants must have a recent vet reference, have owned a dog before (previous Cavalier experience a plus), and must submit to a home visit by one of our volunteers. If you live more than an hour from one of our volunteers, we cannot consider you..
