Rudy is not your typical Ruby Cavalier. While he loves to wander and explore, he’s just as happy to follow you around the house and then settle in your lap. He arrived in rescue in December and was just neutered in early January. He is still marking everywhere so house breaking will be his first trick! After that he will learn to walk on a leash and get along with humans and other dogs. When he’s ready for adoption, he will appear in our Available page. Until then we will not be considering adoption candidates.
Rudy will definitely need a securely fenced yard! No electric fences and no exceptions on the fence requirement. You must live in one of the following Mid Atlantic states to be considered: Virginia, Maryland, Washington DC, Delaware or Pennsylvania. In addition you must live within a two hour drive from the foster so that multiple meetings can be arranged.
