Hello, friends! My name is Zoni. My foster mom says you should know that I am an
observant, sensitive, sweet girl. I am a little bit shy, and I need to continue my exposures to other
people and environments to grow my confidence. I still don’t like being picked up too much, but I
love to cuddle and I am learning those things go together. I especially love to be right next to
someone at all times.
I’m very athletic and love to lead the pack in a good game of chase. So far no one has caught
me! Foster Mum says I must have *springs* in these back legs because I have easily jumped out of
the 24 inch ex-pen, so mum recommends a cover or a pen/gates 30-plus inches high.
My new home will need to be patient with me while I continue growing my confidence, and
working on this new thing called ‘housebreaking’, which I guess means something different than
‘breaking the house’. It will take time until I am dependably going potty outside, but in the
meantime, I am really good at using a potty pad. I sleep in my crate at night and for naps but I
prefer to be out with people when I’m awake.
Because I am a bit fearful, I would probably do best in a quieter home. As long as I am not
overwhelmed, I do equally well with other dogs, men, women, and kids, but have not been
tested with cats.
