Lovey here. I am a healthy, young and very active girl who came to the Rescue Trust after I was found as a stray and no one came in to claim me. I don’t remember much about my former life, but I am so happy that the Rescue Trust stepped in to give me a second chance for a great home and family to call my own.
Now, you may notice that I do not have the typical color and markings of many cavaliers, but that is just one thing that makes me special. Not to brag, but I have already passed the obedience training course to become a Canine Good Citizen. My foster says I am very smart. I want to keep learning new things, and would love to be able to try out some active dog sports like Rally, Advanced Obedience, Agility, Fast CAT, Flyball , Fetch, or even Scentwork with my family. If they are interested in any of those activities I’m up for it. I could even be a hiking buddy with you, especially if a pup cup or ice cream is on offer afterwards.
My foster home has other cavaliers. I am good with all of them, and love playing with my foster’s youngest dog. I would love to have another active dog in my forever home. One requirement I do have is for a good sized secure yard to run in.
Can you see me in your home? If you think we can make a difference in each other’s life I would love to meet you! I am being fostered in Pennsylvania so you must live in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Northern Virginia, Washington D.C. or Delaware in order to be considered. Don’t forget, you must have a fence to apply. I’m keeping my paws crossed to find a special home of my very own.
