Please take a moment or two to think about how you can help. Please encourage your friends and your clubs to support Cavalier rescue. All of our rescue workers are volunteers. There are no paid positions in rescue so all of your donations go directly to aiding Cavaliers in need.
♦Financial Aid: There are a variety of ways you can help with financial aid. Remember, The Trust is a 501(c)3 organization so all monetary donations are tax deductible to the extent that IRS allows.

Direct cash gifts. A donor may make a cash donation to the ACKCS Rescue Trust.  Cash donations may be made from The Trust web site at the Rescue Store.   Check donations may be sent to: ACKCS Rescue Trust 6000 High Bluff Court Raleigh, NC 27612

♦ Many employers have Matching Gift programs which would double your donation.
♦ Donations in Memoriam: A donor may wish to make a gift in memoriam of a family member, valued friend, or pet.
♦ Direct Gift of Appreciated Securities: This method conserves the donor’s cash while helping to avoid capital gains tax on the sale of appreciated securities. The market value of the securities is deductible in the current year’s tax return. The donor should consult with their tax advisor.
♦ Direct Gifts of Life Insurance: If you have a life insurance policy that is no longer required, transferring the policy to the ACKCS Rescue Trust may provide benefits to both The Trust and the donor. The Trust would ultimately collect the policy value and the donor may be entitled to an income tax deduction in the amount of the policy’s value. The donor should consult with their tax advisor.
♦ Wills: The donor may list The Trust as a beneficiary in their will. The distribution of the estate is then made at the donor’s death
All donors to The Trust will receive an acknowledgement letter specifying the amount of the donation.
